Vanilla cheesecake with blackberry compote

  1. Put the blackberries and sugar in a large saucepan with 1 tablespoon water. Simmer gently for 5-10 minutes, until the berries are soft and sticky.
  2. Plate up the cheesecake slices and spoon over the warm compote to serve.
